Capitalizing on the per capita stat that the worldwide consumption of sparkling beverages is highest in Belgium, a new party concept in Antwerp is born, 'We Love Bubbles', where bubbles and only bubbles (champagne, cava, etc..) come to party.

With the economy still in shambles, it comes as no surprise that even sales are having sales. So, if the prices were not reduced enough for you in the first round of stocksales, you have another go at your favourite brands at even sharper prices mid-season.
This Saturday and Sunday, up-and-coming fashion/lifestyle street Sint-Jorispoort in Antwerp will be hosting a music festival with featured performances in the shops lining the street, which will be exceptionally open from 11am - 7pm on Saturday AND Sunday.
You know it's the fashion crowd when there is one pop of colour for every ten black, albeit flawless, outfits. The fact that the ratio became 1-in-20 for the opening party of RA 13, Antwerp's newest concept store, only meant there were very fashionable people in attendance indeed.

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Well, actually stocksales happen twice a year, but the Fall/Winter stocksale dates just happen to fall closer to Christmas gift-giving time. Or, self-gifting time, in my case.

The 'Markt Van Morgen' (Market of Tomorrow) featuring young interior, jewellery and clothing designers, and graphic artists will take place this Saturday at the Bedenkersmarkt.
