We Dine
As our poster girl Carrie once said on Sex & the City: 'shopping is [her] cardio'. Well, whether shopping is your cardio or not, running about from shop to shop can make a girl hungry. Look no further than our recommendations for the best places around town to relax and indulge in some fine food and drinks, things Belgians do quite well.
We here at the site tend to seek out value for money in our dining selections; any funds subtracted from our shopping budgets must be thoroughly justified, of course. So, if you're seeking Michelin Stars, you won't find them here. Not to say we don't appreciate nice decor and presentation, mind you.
And as our waistlines and wallets prevent us from eating out as much as we would like, our list of recommendations is not yet near completion. Please check back often for new recommendations, and feel free to pass along some of your own!
*DRINKS section coming soon!

The cocktail menu may be more exotic and extensive than the food menu here, but I’ve always had good experiences with the dish of the day.
The sister restaurant of Ferrier 30, Arte serves up traditional Italian cuisine in a similarly contemporary setting.
I only recently discovered this new chocolate bar, amongst a string of chocolate bars that have seemed to pop up around the city in the last few months.
This ‘franchise’ has two locations around the city: one conveniently on Hopland and the other on the Kloosterstraat: two must-shop areas.
Located on Antwerp's unofficial antique street, Chez Fred is shabby chic with an excellent local kitchen.
You can get a full, filling breakfast here for under 6€ with juice, coffee, bread and spreads, and a tasty pastry.
This giant Belgian patisserie is a landmark; you will be hard pressed to find a front room table at any given time of day. Luckily, the table service is quick.
